I had Misha (now 9) attend a technology group in the area last week. He enjoyed it so much that he wanted to go again, so today, I joined him as he went to his group session.
Generally they get a theme, do research at home one week. The next week they present what they’ve learnt to the group, do a project and where possible, there are also field trips to attend.
This week Nicci explained the water cycle. The kids presented their information to the group and this will be followed by a scheduled field trip to the Vaal Dam and the Vereeniging Water Purification Plant next week.
Of course afterwards there was also some time for some social before heading home….
